What You'll Do:
Create a Shooting Guide for each episode based on the creative hand off from the Series Director 
Follow approved direction throughout episode, and discuss any changes needed with Series Director 
Provide feedback and direction to Animation Leads and animators ensuring character performance is being hit 
Run shot hand offs with Animators 
Assign Animation tasks and enter in Shotgun any notes/direction needed for Artists to start their work 
Review all Animation submissions from artists, providing feedback when needed 
Work collaboratively with Editor ensuring the edit is working throughout the episode 
Document and communicate any and all audio pickups which may be required  
Review Series Director and Client notes on Animation Animatics and propose solutions to ensure their direction is reflected on any material being sent out 
Raise any creative or production issues as they arise to Series Director and/or Production team 
Attend Lighting and FX Hand Off to Supervisors, making sure the direction is clear for both departments 

What You’ll Bring:
Minimum 2+ years experience in a directorial position 
Excellent understanding of animation timing and posing 
Familiarity with CG animation and the strengths and weaknesses of CGI animation 
Knowledge of storytelling principles and techniques 
Strong sense of story and structure

What You’ll Do:
Executive Support

We're looking for a Senior   to join us on (INSERT SHOW NAME)! 
 
Reporting to the Producer, in this position you will have exceptional character animation skills and considerable experience in CG animation for broadcast television or feature film productions. You excel at creating high-calibre, dramatic and action-oriented character animation, while at the same time meeting production deadlines.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

What You’ll Do:
CG visualization of storyboard animatic  
Establish camera blocking, composition and lens choice  
Character key posing and animation 
Work with the Previs/Layout Supervisor to provide coverage options to Director  
Work with the Previs/Layout Supervisor to ensure work adheres to the vision set out by the directors  
Proactively identify possible creative / technical problems with shots  
Ensure the Previs/Layout team is productive by answering questions that arise  
Train, mentor, and motivate new Previs/Layout Artists who are placed on the crew  
Assist Previs/Layout team in execution of camera lensing and staging, composition and blocking of scenes from storyboard animatics  
Complete assigned sequences within scheduled timeframe  
Ensure shot continuity  
Anticipate, communicate, and troubleshoot any creative or technical issues with assistance from lead Layout artist  
Assist /guide Previs/Layout Artists in the organization of their assignments  
Keep current on Layout techniques and technology  
Create and rig proxy models as needed  

What You’ll Bring:
3+ years of experience in animation or film industry  
Solid knowledge of Maya is essential  
Ability to interpret storyboards and realizes them in a CG environment  
Firm understanding of cameras, staging, composition, perspective, pacing, timing and cinematography concepts in animation context  
Solid understanding of cinematic language and camera terminology  
A strong understanding of character key posing and a developed foundation of animation principles. 
Ability to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas  
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently  
Ability to work alone and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure  
Encouraging attitude towards feedback and new initiatives  
Degree/diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent experience an asset  
Basic modeling and rigging is an asset
