What You’ll Do:

Accounts Payable &amp; Administrative Support
Assist with AP invoice processing and data entry (as assigned)
Review and assign appropriate coding to independent contractor invoices, and submit for approval
Match billbacks and RPTs to invoices
Draft credit applications to vendors
Verify vendor banking details over the phone
Credit Card &amp; Banking
Perform credit card bookkeeping
Reconcile multiple Visa statements 
Prepare and post journal entries for credit cards
Gather and organize credit card receipts
Download monthly bank statements
Accounting &amp; Reporting Support
Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets
Support monthly reconciliations and documentation
Assist with audit requests (pulling documents and support files)
Filing &amp; Records Management
Maintain digital and paper filing systems
Organize and retrieve documents for audit purposes
Maintain manifest of off-site storage records
Other
Printing and assembly of voice record cheques and supporting documentation (Dynamics GP)
General administrative support (filing, sorting, scanning, photocopying)
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You’ll Bring:
Completion of accounting or business-related courses
1+ year accounting experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar accounting system is an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)
Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., data organization, basic formulas)
Intermediate Adobe Acrobat skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines

 What You’ll Do:
Prepare internal and external cost reports for a large-scale, animated feature film.
Present budget updates and variances during meetings with external partners.
Monitor departmental spending and labor utilization in real time using studio production finance tools (e.g., proprietary systems, SmartAccounting).
Collaborate with the Producer, Line Producer and Head of Production to maintain accurate cost details, schedules, and staffing plans.
Own financial reporting across the production lifecycle, including:Estimate to Complete (EFC) and variance analyses
Budget vs. actual reconciliations
Cash flow and headcount projections
Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end forecasting and reporting
Track and reconcile vendor costs, including animation partners, editorial vendors, and independent contractors
Partner with Payroll and HR to resolve payroll issues and adjustments
Code accounts payable and contractor invoices; maintain accurate cost allocation
Complete guild and union remittances (e.g., UBCP, WGA, WGC, CMPA, IATSE)
Analyze estimated production tax credits.
Prepare and file tax credit accreditation applications for Production Services Tax Credits.
Assist with year‑end filings and production audits.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership and producers.
 
What You’ll Bring:
7–10+ years of production accounting experience in animated features, VFX‑heavy films, or large‑scale episodic animation.
Proven track record of owning financials on complex, high-budget productions from greenlight through delivery
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Strong understanding of BC and Ontario production service tax credits.
Experience working with industry unions (e.g., IATSE).
Advanced proficiency with production accounting software (SmartAccounting or proprietary studio systems).
Expert Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with creative and technical teams.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical ability.
Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong adaptability and resilience in a dynamic production setting

What You’ll Do:
Work closely with the Producer, Director, Production Designer, Art Director, CG Supervisor, and other craft Supervisors to influence, define and maintain the visual style of an animated project while adhering to budgets and schedules
Establish the technical direction and technical foundation to meet artistic, budget and schedule parameters 
Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and production management, while guiding a shot from initial concept through final delivery
Client interaction includes creative reviews and technical presentations with support from Production and Creative Leadership 
Facilitate and develop consensus between technology, artistry, and production management 
Identify, research, recommend and implement new techniques into studio tools, adding value to work produced 
Find a balance between creative needs and technical resources available 
Partner with Production Management and stakeholders to ensure all bids are accurate and include any necessary assumptions 
Ensure that all production deadlines are met while producing work at a quality level in keeping with production requirements  
Anticipate, communicate, and troubleshoot any creative or technical issues with assistance from key stakeholders  
Recommend any crew training needs to Studio CG Supervisor or Head of CG  
Foster and enable communication and collaboration across departments  
Work closely with Production Technology and Pipeline to resolve all technical roadblocks and improve efficiency through workflow and tool creation  
Foster a supportive and inclusive team environment

What You'll Bring:
8+ years of experience in animation or film industry, having held a Supervisory role for at least 5 years  
Excellent understanding of CG feature production pipeline
Excellent communication skills, organization and team awareness  
Strong combined creative and technical background  
Experience with Arnold or RenderMan preferred
Great understanding of animation styles and techniques as well as a solid comprehension of animation production for television or film  
Ability to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas in a professional, respectful, and positive manner  
Ability to work alone and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure  
Ability to encourage feedback and new initiatives
Ability to travel to our Vancouver studio when required

Nice to have:  
Proficiency in Maya, Nuke, or Houdini
Experience with Gaffer, or node-based software like Katana/Solaris
