The Talent Administrator is responsible for generalist & administrative support within the Talent Management team. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will gain exposure to HRIS administration and reporting, benefits administration, and payroll support. You will help ensure smooth operation of our Talent programs and support in new initiatives for the studio.

What You'll Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing exceptional service to employees and addressing their needs promptly
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, preparing required documents, and updating employee records
- Process employee job changes and transfers; enter and track contract start/end dates; collect required data and enter information accurately into the HRIS
- Ensure a smooth offboarding process for departing employees
- Liaise with Accounting & Payroll to ensure the accuracy of HR data for payroll
- Performing employee info audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected, and HR controls are met.
- Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Prepare employment verification letters as required
- Support and track legal and immigration activities for work authorization applications (Canada and/or US). Ensure immigration files and records are up-to-date
- Collect and track employee proof-of-residency documents, working with the Finance team to ensure all are captured in UKG
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others (internally and externally) and conduct all behavior in a professional and customer service-oriented manner.
- Proactively review processes and reports to develop, update or improve to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist employees with access to the HR system by resetting passwords, as needed
- Participate in HR team initiatives and projects as required
- Generate and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Assist in organizing training sessions and development programs for employees
What You'll Bring:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field
- 1 year of previous HR experience ideal
- Previous experience with UKG, TalentSoft or large scale HCM is an asset
- Knowledge of HR principles, best practices and Canada labor laws and regulations
- Understanding of payroll processes & procedures
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and Office 365 - Advance proficiency with Excel is an asset
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while setting priorities and adapting to multiple demands
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Working towards their CPHR or equivalent
Pay Range $1000 to $1096 CAD per week.
Candidates are paid within the range posted, but their exact pay will vary based on the level, responsibilities and expectations of the role. We also take into consideration the experience and skills that individuals brings, with considerations of our internal equity.
